September's Guest Goddess....

Is none other than the very charming and stupendously sweet Gina Arzaga! You probably know her around the web as "Cre8tvlyYrs". Gina brings so much spirit and spontaneity to her scrap pages, it's always a pleasure to see what she'll come up with next. To start you off, here's a link to her ScrapArtist Gallery--grab a drink and go for a stroll through her gallery, you won't be disappointed!

I asked Gina for three of her favorite layouts and she indulged me-so I thought it would be fun to share them here with you:

Gina_fav_2
Gina_fav_3

And just because it's fun to visualize someone when you're reading their Q&A answers, here's a picture of the talented girl!

Just to get to know Gina a little better, I asked her to share her answers to our questionnaire--I hope you enjoy her answers just as much as I did.

1. My full name is: Gina Marie Arzaga
2. My best friend calls me:  Pretty Girl (dh is my best friend)

3. I scrap my family and everyday moments because I feel that those are the precious details of our loved ones that we will most like to remember about them!

4. My favorite inspiration comes from: either a really great photo, a special occassion or my moods!

5. My computer is set up (where): in the family room right next to the kitchen, which is great cause I don't burn dinner anymore. ;)

6. If I'm surfing the web I like to 'screen' shop or google topics for research and of course go through my e-mails first, always.
7. If I'm shopping I'm (where): at the mall or Target

8. I've been scrapping digitally for (how long): I actually took the 'digi dive' about 2 years ago but did lurk around for a couple of years before I took that plunge! lol! I began by taking some online classes in 2004 which is when I began collecting freebies but I was still way too involved in paper scrapping swaps! lol! When my grandma passed away in April 2005 I totally lost my 'creative' spirit and only created a few digital LO's here and there. I didn't even post anything until August 2005 at a non digi scrap site even though I had already discovered ScrapArtist in June 2005 because I was too intimidated to post my layouts. I mostly lurked once in a while at ScrapArtist and then in the end of January 2006 my 'creativity' finally sparked up again when I discovered all of the awesome challenges!

9. My favorite element that I use on almost every layout is: Almost always some type of stitching, doodles & flowers.

10. My family consists of: My dh Art and our furbaby Angela, but we do hope to have children of our own and also plan to foster to adopt a child or two.
11. Don't look, I'm having a little snack and it is: Rocky Road Icecream!
12. My favorite travel destination is: Disneyland! LOL!
13. My dream vacation is: Rome, Italy
14. I love to journal but I have to be in the mood for it.

15. A movie that never fails to make me cry is: It's a Wonderful Life
16. If I'm not scrapping, I'm: working, cooking or cleaning, watching tv, talking on the phone, working on an art or design project or just spending time with dh, and or family...basically living life!

17. It takes me at least 30 minutes or more  to complete a layout.

18. When I was ten, I saw myself as: an Artist

19. My biggest scrap success has been: being a part of the ScrapArtist Apprentice last year and of course winning the LO contest that gave me this fun opportunity to be the September Guest CT member for ScrapArtist! :)
20. A little known fact about me is: I'm a pretty good dancer and I also love to sing! lol!

AND the bonus question-LOL

21. I'm famous in my family for: being 'Creative' not only with paper but also with home decor which is why I chose my username 'Cre8tvlyYrs' and little business name 'Cre8tvlyYrs Designz, Memories & More'! The only problem with being 'creative' is that all my family wants me to do all their projects and there's only one of me!

Isn't she fantastic?? Now for the challenge part of the post! Complete a scraplift of anything from Gina's ScrapArtist Gallery and post it in the Guest Goddess Scraplift Gallery with a link back here. There's a prize in it for one lucky lifter!!

Mojo Monday Challenge!

Welcome to Mojo Monday, it´s my first challenge here on the blog, and i´m very excited. And here is my challenge, it called *black and white*
The world is full of colours, but sometimes is less more. I love black and white photos, they have so much expression. In my opinion these pictures don´t need bright colours, perhaps black and white to set the focus on the photo, to support the expression of it. So here are the rules:
* 1or 2 black and white photos
* only papers, elements and Alphas in black and white, silver glitter is okay
So let´s go and happy scraping, i look forward to your layouts!  Here's mine:

Feature Friday - The Storybook Garden

I love this week's featured kit!  It's so whimsical and happy - perfect for baby pictures, heritage pictures, nature, or all about me pages - it's really versatile too! It's the ever-talented and origianl Fiddlette's latest series of products - The Storybook Garden.  There are pattern papers, solid papers (which also include some great pressed flowers), elements and even an alpha in the Shoppe!  They're all great, but the pattern papers are my favorite:

Here's the layout I created using a picture of me at one year old :)

Jennifer M took the kit in a different direction with a beautiful heritage layout!

Finally, this week's winner is Catherine aka Chud23 for her beautiful layout using Amber Clegg's Cardboard Circle Alphas!  It's called Love at First Sight and I love all the great elements she pulled together :)
