TGIF! Time for another feature!
This week we're spotlighting Amber Clegg, and her gorgeous Velvet Ribbon Bin
The texture on these ribbons is incredible! They are so well done, I find myself trying to stroke the screen! The rich colours are perfect for Christmas layouts, but the elegence of these make them versatile enough to be used for a wide variety of themes and pages. Take a look at what our CT member Vendy did with them!
If you have a page using Amber's velvet ribbons, we'd love to see it, so be sure to upload it to our Featured Product Gallery this week! If you haven't used them, now is the perfect time to pick them up!
That's almost it for another week. Before I go, have you heard about the survey we are running? Through the end of March we are giving you, our friends and customers the opportunity to tell us what you think about the site - what you love, what we could improve, and what you'd like to see more of! There's even a little something at the end as an appreciation of your time and support. Check out this thread in the forums for more details!
One last personal recommendation from me - the March issue of Digital Artist Magazine is now on sale in the shoppe. It's packed full of Spring and Easter layout ideas, tutorials, and the latest digital trends for this year. There's also a really cute kid on the cover, if I do say so myself! ;)
Have a great weekend!
Until next time,
Happy Thursday everyone!

Hi Scrappers! Erika (AKA dancingscrapper) here for another Two-Fer Tuesday! For this week’s heritage challenge, how about we pay tribute to our ancestors and their professions? In our family we seemed to have a lot of doctors, barbers, and blacksmiths, but I’ve chosen to pay tribute to my grandfather who was a Detective Lieutenant with the LAPD.
Come on into the forum to see all the juicy details
Here is my layout:
Now, I don’t know about all of you but sometimes I think I was born in the wrong time period. I have always had a fascination with the past and different periods of history and thought it would be great to do a little time traveling. Of course then when I really think about what life would be like without things like…Advil, DVDs and my laptop it just wouldn’t be the same! But it doesn’t mean we can’t put ourselves in another time period for a while, right?
Join me in the forum to learn more about his Altered/Collage challenge
Here is my layout:
I’m looking forward to seeing your beauteous works of art!
First of all I wanted to thank everyone for participating in the Hybrid Challenge!!!
We saw some gorgeous creations in the gallery using Amber's CD folder template!
And now, I will announce the two winners for the challenge who will receive a $10 GC to the Scrapartist Shoppe:
Ana for this lovely creation:
and

Congrats girls!!!! You will be contacted shortly to receive your prizes.
Check back March 12 for a brand-new hybrid challenge hosted by Hybrid Goddess Eva!
Have a wonderful day!!!!

Happy Monday everyone!
We have a fun challenge today...we are rockin our 80's hair. I know...I honestly can't believe I'm posting these pictures for everyone to see either (lol), but it has been SO much fun seeing all the CT layouts. We have had so many laughs thinking of the memories from the 80's. Here are some memories we came up with:
side ponytails, moon boots, leg warmers, HUGE bangs, doubled t-shirts with the sleeves rolled so the under color showed, two different colored socks, dangley neon earings, bandanas tied around legs or arm (punky bruster style), spiral perms, Paul Mitchell freeze spray, acid washed jeans, jelly shoes, penny loafers, friendship bracelets, Izods (with the collar up)(lol), mood rings, moon pants, roller skating, black eyeliner, mullets and tails...do you remember those (yuck)! How's that for some fun reminiscing!
Here are some of the AMAZING, FUN layouts our CT did...I'm still cracking up!
Here is Mic's layout:
Here is Kim's:
Here's Laurie's:
Here's Jennifer's:
and mine:
I told you...fun stuff! So come join us...you know you loved the 80's...rock that hair! Please join us for some fun and laughter over in the forums and galleries this week. We can't wait to see those 80's hairstyles flooding the gallery.
Amber made this AWESOME freebie for you here! Thank you so much, Amber!
Happy reminiscing!

Hi there everyone, Suzy here with this weeks Simply You challenge. This is my first time posting Simply You and this week my chosen topic is:
Vacation of your Dreams
Everyone has a place or two that they dream (or have dreamt) of visiting. For some their dream comes true, for me it hasn't as yet. There are only two places in the world that I would say I HAVE TO visit before I die. One is Morocco. The other is Cuba. I know that I will get to visit both these places sometime in my lifetime, but at the moment, they are both still a dream.
This week we would love to see some layouts inspired by the places that you would to to visit.
Here are some layouts from members of the ScrapArtist CT to inpire you.
The first is by Mic
This page is from Emilie
And here is mine
There are so many incredible places in this world to visit - I cant wait to see what your dream desination(s) would be.
Please check out the forums for all the details. And dont forget to post your layouts in the challenge gallery so we can all give them some love.
Thanks for playing along.
Happy scrapping!
There were so many beautiful lifts in the gallery the past 2 weeks. Thank you so much for playing with us. Vendy’s gallery is truly filled with so much eye candy. And I enjoyed looking at all the lifts and seeing how each one was inspired. There were several that lifted the same page but their final LO’s still had their own distinct looks.
It was also so nice to see some of Vendy’s designs in action. I loved seeing her realistic looking elements/designs in some of the layouts.
Suzy’s My Precious is a lift of Vendy’s Growing.
Mic’s Julia is a lift of Vendy’s Crazy Girl
We were also able to get one of our new hybric goddesses, Eva to make a hybrid lift. Here is her Tim page which is a lift of Vendy’s Two.
Thank you Vendy for providing such beautiful inspirations
this month.
We’ll be in touch with you shortly with your prize.
Again, thank you everyone who participated in the challenge.
Look out next month for our next guest creative goddess. And I hope you can
join us again in lifting another amazing gallery.
Have a great day!
Joy
