Monthly review - Mojo Monday challenge

I’m so excited to be bringing to you this week’s Mojo Monday challenge. Scrapbooking for me personally is mainly about preserving the memories. That I am able to express myself creatively in the process is an added bonus. But it’s the memories that I give foremost importance to. 

We’re somewhere in the middle of February and I ask: Do you remember what happened in January?

If you don’t, I suggest taking a look at the photos you’ve taken or your date book or calendar and scrap a page about the highlights or special moments of the past month.

If you still remember what happened in January, well... scrap that page now before you forget! LOL!

If you’d rather not remember the past month or nothing really special happened, I invite you to scrap a page highlighting another month of your choice or like what Laurie has done, scrap a page about a special moment.

The bottom line is that you get that page scrapped before your memory fails you. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did.

As for me, I’m planning to do this every month so that at the end of the year, I have 12 beautiful pages that will remind me of the year 2008. I’ve got 1 down, 11 more to go.

Guest Designer Scraplift challenge

Hi there :)
Gabi's here with our brand new monthly challenge. Every month we have a guest designer at ScrapArtist. For the month of February our guest designer is very sweet Zoe Pearn. 
She created a funky and bright kit for us called Intergalactic. Splashes of bold, masculine colors make this kit perfect for your little man, but it's universal theme will also suit snaps of your little princess. It's filled with bold and funky paterns and a stuck of cute embellishments.

And here goes the challenge. Zoe chose a gallery of her friend Sandra to scraplift. You can choose any layout from Sandra's gallery to lift. The only requirement is you have to use Zoe's Intergalactic kit at least from 75%.  One lucky winner will get a free kit from Zoe's store at Sweet Shoppe. The deadline for this challenge is on February 29.

Please upload your layouts to the ScrapArtist Challenges gallery and leave us a link at the forum so we can go and leave you some love on your layouts.

Hybrid Challenge: Printable CD/DVD Folder

Welcome everyone! This is Hybrid Goddess Cathy (cayla73) with a brand-new hybrid challenge for you! Amber Clegg has created a set of GORGEOUS and VERSATILE Hybrid/Printable CD/DVD folder templates. These templates come in a variety of ways and sizes:  5 inch x 5 inch folder, and a 6.5 inch x 5 inch folder (perfect for including a cd and 4x6 album) both of these with or without 1/4 inch spine.

Anna Russell has also created a gorgeous ready-to-print CD folder to match her Love Lyrics Album. This is INCLUDED in the download!!!!

This is a perfect way to hold photo CDs, DVDs, mini-albums or cards! A great gift idea for Valentine's Day or other special occasions.

The Hybrid Team has created some beautiful examples using the template.

Hybrid Goddess DeniseD created a CD card to hold a CD full of kids photos for the grandparents & family

using the Painted Love Collaboration Kit.

Hybrid Goddess Angie (lily24) made a holder for a CD of romantic tunes using Painted Love and one Anna Russell's Love Is Quick Page Album pages for the cover.

Angie (a very busy bee) also created a lovely holder using Anna's ready-to-print folder.

And I adapted the template to hold an accordion album and matching card.

I also used the Painted Love Collab Kit for the folder and Anna's QuickPage Album for the accordion album. For more details on how I created my project, click on the gallery link.

Mojo Monday

Hello and Welcome to this weeks Mojo Monday.  I am Tracy (5angels) and I am your host, and I am so excited to be hosting this challenge – my first ever!

This weeks’ inspiration comes from something I carry around with me everywhere,   it is a part of me, and I felt totally lost a few weeks ago when it broke.  So after five years I have a new flash one and as I was organising it, it bought me to this week’s Mojo “WHATS IN YOUR HANDBAG?”

I have had so much fun creating this layout – four hours extracting LOL but I am pleased with the outcome!  My Handbag believe it or not is a lot bigger than I have made it on my layout!
