March Madness is over

Yes, March is over and so our March Madness event. This month was INCREDIBLE!!! We were amazed by all of those beautiful layouts you made, so happy that you came and talk together in the forums. You really rocked all of those challenges we prepared for you.
I as a captain of the ScrapArtist team would like to thank you for the energy you put into everything! All of you really make ScrapArtist a very special place and a digihome for a lot of wonderful people. Thank you!!!

Guest Goddess Contest

Hi there :)

Gabi's here bringing to you a new contest. I remember when I started with digiscrapbooking in December 2006, I dreamed about becoming a CT member here at ScrapArtist. At that time I thought my dream will never come true. Then there was a Mojo Monday challenge in June which I participated in and I won it!!!  I got a Guest CT spot!!! I was jumping over the moon for two days at home how I was happy. LOL. See? Nothing is impossible.

If you have the same dream as I had few months ago, this is a right contest for you. We are looking for3 Guest Goddesses to join our team for one month!!! How cool is that?!
Here comes the challenge. This contest will run from today until March 26th. All you have to do is to create 2 layouts.  The first one has to be done with 100% of ScrapArtist goodies (the shop is full of fantastic stuff, have you noticed?). After you will upload your layout into a ScrapArtist Challenges Gallery and post a link to your layout in the forum, you will receive links for this beautiful kit made by our designers for creating the second layout. This second layout has to be done only from this kit.

The deadline for this contest is on March 26th. Can't wait to see your layouts.

Reverie [day*dream] Contest and Challenge

Hi Everybody!

I have the privilege of introducing our special Reverie[day*dream] Contest and Challenge we are presenting in connection with our exciting Christmas in July! Sale and the release of the SA Collab kit for July, "Reverie [day*dream]".

Anyone who would like to participate should go grab the "Reverie" kit for use in this challenge, as it is on sale at a great price, and it is simply PERFECT for the theme!

There will be three prize winners. Top prize will receive 3 months of free Scrap Artist Designer Collaboration Kits...normally priced at $12 per kit--a $36 value!

Two runners up will receive one month of FREE Scrap Artist Designer Kits.....another terrific prize! As well, Special Mention layouts will receive free kits of choice in the Scrap Artist store!

Here is the challenge:

Using the Reverie kit, and some of your most precious photos, you will be creating a layout using the following definition as your inspiration (special thanks for the great definition, Gina!) :

"Rev~er~ie (noun) – 1) Daydream; a pleasant visionary usually wishful creation of the imagination. 2) Sweet dreams; from the French, rever, meaning to dream sweetly or pleasantly. A Reverie is the state of dreaming sweetly and comfortably, a state of enjoyment and pure happiness whilst asleep. Made famous by the Norah Jones song, “If I Were a Painter”, Reverie has been used for a long time by the French to wish one another sweet dreams before they sleep. Reverie is a beautiful word, filled with romantic connotations and an intrinsic meaning of the most sweet and perfect state of dreaming during sleep. When you have a Reverie you wake up feeling happy, refreshed, and excited to be alive. To be in a Reverie is to be in one of the most single blissful states of being in the world."

After reading that definition, I'm sure your minds will be swimming with all sorts of wonderful images of dreams and special ponderings, deeply personal, and completely perfect for expression on a layout with this theme as a challenge. We will be creating a special gallery for you to post in (Reverie [day*dream] Contest and Challenge) and the contest will run till midnight Sunday night, July 8th. Prize winners will be notified as soon as possible after the deadline.

Birthday Celebration Winners!

Thanks to everyone who came to the chat last night. It was so much fun!! We announced the winners of the birthday challenges as well as had some fun trivia and giveways. Here are the winners for anyone who could not attend. Thanks to everyone for making our birthday party so much fun this weekend!
