Now that we know so much about you, how about introducing us to some of your relatives? I know it´s tempting to scrap those beautiful faces of our kids, but let´s try to make something different?

So, pick up someone from your family and make a beautiful LO, add some journaling and create a keepsake for you in the future: who was the one having an important hole in your life during certain period?

Hi girls!!

So, this week's challenge is to scrap about your guilty pleasure! You have to scrap about something you can't resist and that is not good for you (well it's good but then it makes you feel guilty): chocolate, shoes, bags, clothes, candies, coffee... the list is endless!!!

Here's my take on the challenge! I must admit my guilty pleasure is candies. LOL!

Mojo Monday {4.21}

Happy Mojo Monday to you fellow Scrap Artists! I’m thrilled to bring you this week’s challenge. This week, we draw inspiration from this web ad from CostPlus World Market.

 

I’ve noted down some things that caught my eye and inspired me to create this layout. Those were my starting points but as you can see, my layout kinda went a different direction in terms of color and framing.

My challenge to you is to create a LO based on the inspiration piece I’ve given. You are free to be inspired and interpret the piece any way you want. That’s the beauty of art, right? To inspire you even more and help in your creative process, Hope of Paper Relics designs is generously sharing these borders and banners. These were creatively inspired by our challenge too.

Simply You (Week 12) - In Their Eyes

Hello everyone! Another Thursday is here which means a new Simply You challenge for you. 

My scrapbook albums are filled with pages that share stories according to how I experienced it. I’ve got pages about my children’s experiences but they’re usually told from my perspective. My scrapbook pages are usually about what I remember of the moment, what I felt, what I thought. What if, this time, you scrap about what another person thinks about you? Yup, your challenge this week is to get someone else to describe you . It can be your child, your significant other, your parent or a friend. It doesn’t matter who as long as you get someone else’s perspective.

To help you along, I found these questionnaires here and here at Simple Scrapbooks that you might want to use.

I interviewed my son and here’s what he has to say about me:

You have noticed that there is a little bit of madness at ScrapArtist, even the avatars are going crazy! So, let's continue the fun with a funky and simple challenge:

If you were a celebrity for one day, who would you like to be? Scrap your favorite actor, actress, writer, singer... scrap a star that you admire! It's very simple and easy!

I have some layouts to show you for some inspiration... Here's one from my buddy Kathy who would like to be Catherine Zeta-Jones! She already has the beautiful dark hair, so it won't be too difficult to replace Mrs Michael Douglas! ;)

If I could wish upon a star...

As for me, I would like to be Julia Roberts, my all time favorite actress since Pretty Woman which is my favorite movie!

Good day everyone! Hope you all have been having fun with our March Madness event. It’s been so much fun seeing so many of you complete the various challenges we’ve been putting out. The SA gallery is brimming with gorgeous LO’s because of all the beautiful pages you’ve been creating. 

I’m here to bring you another challenge. 

Ever since I started scrapbooking, I’ve become more aware of ads in magazines, website designs, the fonts they use in ads. There is so much design inspiration around us if we just take the time to look. 

I stumbled upon this website for Sunsilk and I was immediately drawn to it. I’ve written down the things that caught my attention.

Your challenge is to create a LO inspired by this particular web page. You’re open to interpret it any way you are inspired. Here is my LO.
