Layout of the Week

Layout of the Week...the results

Thank you everyone for making my job a little easier this week :)  My husband has been sick all weekend so it's just been me and Graham.  I tell you - I have NO IDEA how single parents do it!  I love baby G to death, but I am looking forward to some free time tomorrow when he goes to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  I have things to do!!

Anyhow - back to the task at hand.

I loved looking at all of your pages - I'm always excited to see what you all do with SA goodies! I HATE having to choose, but feel a little better knowing that even if you didn't win this time, you have a chance to do so next week, or the week after that....keep posting your work for us to ohhh and ahhh over :)

Because it looks like we missed picking a winner last week, I decided I could pick two winners (hope I don't get in trouble!!)  Without further ado (or babbling)....I give you the layouts of the week!

Outsideourwindow

Outside My Window by mels really caught my eye - I love these colors together and don't think I would have thought to do it!  I love the font mels used here too and the placement of the journaling.  It's just such a well put together page :)

And given the weekend I've had, I also wanted to recognize this page...

Resize_of_sleeo_062007_copy

Sleep by Joyalicef - need I say more?? "Ahhhh...peace and quiet" she says....indeed!!  Are they not just the sweetest thing when you find them this way??  I always go in and take one last look at G before I go to bed.  Such a great photo to scrap and such a sweet and simple way to do it!

You'll both be getting private messages from me with a coupon code for a free kit in the shoppe - have fun with it!

Thanks again for your help everyone - keep posting those layouts using SA goodies and you could be the next Layout of the Week!

Layout of the Week....with a twist :)

K - here's the deal my dear friends in the Hub....my baby Graham is especially crabby tonight and I just can't seem to get through the gallery to find a Feature Friday Layout of the Week.  Not to fear...I have an idea!  If you put a layout in the gallery this week with all (or mostly all) Scrapartist goodies, link me up here in the comments.  I'll pick a winner from all of the entries by Sunday - they will win a gift certificate to the store for a free kit.

Thanks for helping me out - life with a baby is unpredictable...I'm learning to improvise!
So go ahead - show me what you've done :)

Feature Friday - Layout of the Week

Friday again so it's time to pick a layout to feature from the ScrapArtist gallery.  Here's what I've found...

Cowboy_copy_1_1

kbotr's "I wanna be a cowboy baby" layout made me giggle - what a great photo!  And I tell you, if you have a great photo, less is more.  I love the star elements that she chose to use from Lina's Star Bazar kit and the title really does have a western feel to it.  Amber's date stamp is the perfect last touch to remember when this all happened.

kbotr has just uploaded some great pages of her girls - go check 'em out in HER GALLERY and leave some love for this great page and any others that catch your eye.  I'll be sending her a gift card to the shoppe to pick up some great SA goodies.

Keep those pages coming and you may find your layout using SA product featured on our next Friday Feature post.  Have a great weekend everyone :)

Featured product of the week

Ww_ddalpha_preview This week we're featuring an add-on alpha to the hugely successful combo kit, 'Reverie'. The Curly Q Alpha set is the perfect addition to any Reverie page, and indeed any layout that just needs that special finishing touch - I always find a good title makes a fantastic page, and I love anything that makes my digital pages look as real as possible. I can't resist well done, hand-doodled products, and this is no exception.

Check out how our Creative Team has used the product and then head on over to the store and pick up these arsenal essentials at a discounted price for this week only! Better yet, remember, if you use this weeks' featured product on a page, post it to our featured product gallery before next Thursday (19th July) for your chance to win a gift certificate to the shoppe!

Feature Friday - Layout of the Week

So how is your Reverie layout coming along?? I can't wait to see all of those beautiful layouts in the special challenge gallery.  You have a great chance of winning some fabulous ScrapArtist prizes so check out the details of this challenge HERE

And now for the layout of the week....let me show you what I found when I was browsing through the gallery tonight...

022viageminesquecivel

I just love how anacalabresi put this page together with those stitches and placed Lisa's fun swirls along the corners.  That stitching around the oars-person on the lower left is a great touch too.  It's bright, it's fun, and it's a great way to record this family trip :)  This layout deserves another look - go HERE and leave a little love for anacalabresi.  I'll be sending her a gift certificate for the shoppe - you could win too if we spot your layout with ScrapArtist goodies in the gallery.

Have a great weekend!

And of course as part of Feature Friday, I am happy to bring you the layout of the week!  The layout I found to showcase this week uses a simple design to really bring your attention to the fabulous photo of a very happy boy :)

Loveyou5

Layout of the Week!

Happy weekend everyone!  Is there anything better than the feeling of a Friday afternoon - the whole weekend stretching out ahead of you?  Not really any different than any other day here since I'm still on maternity leave ;) but it does mean my husband will be around all weekend!  Graham is changing so much every day - you should hear how much he was cooing today!  He's enjoying some time in his swing, so I have a few minutes to browse the gallery and find a layout to spotlight....

Believeinyourself_500

Believe in Yourself was created by Talesia. I was really drawn to the beautiful colors and clean page design, but when I read the journaling I knew I had to feature it here at the Hub.  Such an exciting time to be expecting a newborn, but I totally understand the feelings of doubt and fears that go along with that as well.  Go leave Talesia some happy thoughts and praise for this beautiful layout HERE.  I'll be sending Talesia a gift certificate to the shoppe and you can get one too if your layout using SA product is picked for a Feature Friday Layout of the Week!

Enjoy your weekend everyone :)

Feature Friday - Layout of the Week

I've been in hiding with my new baby - I can't believe how time consuming it all is!  He's totally worth it though - just an adorable little guy!! I have to post a picture to share with my SA family - this is Graham and he will be one month old on Sunday...

Gandjessmothersday2

Ok - now that I've done my bragging about my little boy and made excuses for my absence from Feature Friday Layout of the Week....I'm back!!

Featured Sunday - Layout of the week

Doesn't have quite the same ring, eh? I'm so sorry I'm posting this late - Good Friday and the Easter weekend is always very busy in my house - it's my turn again this week to feature another gorgeous layout from the ScrapArtist gallery, which this week comes from cherpea.

The_twins_copy

I love how this layout, entitled The Twins uses the painted stars with the swirls from Lisa's Believe elements. It's such a clever use of the two kits, and they look like they were made for eachother. The pinks here are just perfect for this adorable picture - who can resist little girls in ballet costumes and fairy wings? The whole page just screams GIRLY and I love it!

Thank you, cherpea for posting your gorgeous pages in the SA gallery - you've won a free kit of your choice from the SA shoppe, which I will send to you shortly! Remember, if you would like a chance to win a free kit from the shoppe, all you have to do is post your pages using ScrapArtist products to our Product Gallery, and if they catch our eye, you could be next - it's as simple as that!

That's it for this week! Another featured layout and kit to come next Friday - in the meantime, get scrapping, and you could be our next winner!

Until next time, have a blessed Easter Sunday

Feature Friday

Happy Friday everyone!  It's spring break for me here, so I'm not as thrilled as usual to see Friday arrive. I am thrilled to bring you the layout of the week though - actually the layouts of the week this time :)

Esk used the Fresh Combo Kit to make three great pages this week! It just goes to show how versatile a kit like this can be - you could put together an awesome, well-coordinated album with all of the goodies in there.  I loved seeing how she used the kit for each of these pages - great work Esk!  Go to Esk's gallery and leave these layouts some well deserved love. She's also been rewarded with a gift certificate to pick up a free kit in the SA Shoppe - CONGRATS!

You can win a free kit too - show us what you're doing with ScrapArtist goodies and your layout could be chosen for next week's layout of the week. Oh - and if you don't already have it, you should run to the shoppe and get the Fresh Combo kit 'cause it's only available until the end of March!

Happy scrapping and have a great weekend!

Featured Product of the Week!

Hi everyone! Me again with another featured kit, this week from the very talented Lori Barnhurst.

Dirtypreppyboypreview_lba_lrg_2 Dirty Preppy Boys caught my eye straight away when it was released a couple of months ago, and I knew it was the one I wanted to feature. The colours in this kit are just perfect for those 'dirty boy' layouts (look at that word art!), but as the name implies, it can also be used for cleaner, more 'preppy' pages! My favourite part of the kit has to be the alpha - so much detail, texture, colour in every single piece. And just take a look at that car word art! Love it.

And, if the kit wasn't just fabulous on its own. . . Lori has marked it down for this week only!  Save 30% on Dirty Preppy Boys if you pick up the kit before Thursday, April 5th.

If you want a chance to win a gift certificate to the shoppe, all you have to do is create a layout using Lori's kit and upload it to our Featured Product Gallery .  Each week one layout using the featured kit will be chosen.  Layouts must be uploaded to the featured product gallery by Thursday, April 5th. We can't wait to see what you create!

In the mean time, check out what the creative team has done with the kit, and be inspired!

And, we had a HUGE response to our Featured Product Challenge this week!  We saw over 40 layouts using Lisa Whitney's A Beautiful Mess.  So, to make it easier on all of us. . .we used a number generator and had it select 3 winners!  And here they are. . .

Deep_blue_water_2 Find tokyobuzz's credits here.

Babyboy_2 Find Sorashell's credits here.

There were way to many wonderful layouts posted to just choose one winner, so enjoy your gift certificates ladies!  It was so neat to see how many different ways one kit could be used to inspire beautiful art!  Thanks for sharing them with us.

Until next time,

Feature Friday - Layout of the Week

So glad it's finally Friday and even more excited that it's my turn to pick a layout from the gallery to feature.  This one jumped right out at me - look at those bright blue eyes!  Lisa's new flowers are the just the perfect elements for this and the rings of paper by Lisa and Linda are such a great background - everything draws your attention to this precious photo :)

And now it's time to see our next Featured Product!  I'm really excited about showing off the goodies that are in our next designer's kit called Stationaries.  Most of you are familiar with Linda Gil Billdal's fabulous cardboard overlays. . . and this kit is another terrific staple to have in your scrapping supplies.

Lindagb_stationeries_preview_lrg_2

There are so many useful elements to use in this kit, along with lined papers, crumpled paper, file folders and tape.  Come join us this week and scrap with Linda's kit!  Post your layout to the Featured Product Gallery by Thursday, March 22nd 2007.  One layout will be selected to receive a gift certificate to the Scrapartist Shoppe!

Last, but not least. . . we want to show you the layout that was chosen for the Featured Product Challenge using Kim Christensen's Thrift Chic.  Greta's layout called Bits and Pieces focused on a few different moments of a wedding.  It was beautifully done and I love the catchy title.  Congratulations Greta!
